As President of St. Vincent's Medical Center Foundation, Ronald Bianchi leads the directives for the organization's goals and mission. The Foundation's largest annual fundraiser the SWIM Across the Sound, along with other events, raised more than $2.6 million for cancer prevention, awareness and assistance programs in 2007.
Bianchi is also leading St. Vincent's largest Capital Campaign in history, with a goal of raising $41 million to fund the Medical Center's capital expansion project.
As Senior Corporate Vice President of the Medical Center, Bianchi directs external activities of corporate entities in areas such as Marketing, Market Analysis, Community Relations, Patient Relations, Legislative Activities and Institutional Networking.
 Michael C. Bisciglia
Vice President, St. Vincent's Medical Center Foundation
As Vice President of St. Vincent's Medical Center Foundation, Michael Bisciglia leads the planning of some 35 fundraising events and initiatives for St. Vincent's SWIM Across the Sound. He has responsibilities for fundraising for the SWIM and oversees the day-to-day operations, Foundation staff and interfaces with the large number of volunteers who support SWIM events throughout the year.
Since 1997, Bisciglia has helped grow the SWIM to a $2.6 million annual campaign.
 Lyla Steenbergen, MBA, CFRE
Director of Major Gifts, St. Vincent's Medical Center Foundation
Lyla Steenbergen directs day to day operations of the Capital Campaigns for St. Vincent's College and the Medical Center, supporting key volunteers and the Capital Campaign Committee, and interfacing with fundraising counsel for the campaign. The $160 million expansion and renovation project, the largest in the history of St. Vincent's, includes the construction of the new 4-story Elizabeth M. Pfriem SWIM Center for Cancer Care; expanding and enhancing the Emergency Department; building a new parking garage; and renovating and centralizing the departments of Cardiology, Ambulatory Surgery, and Imaging. A second phase of the Campaign adds important capital improvements.
She is also responsible for on-line giving, annual giving, planning fundraising events, and grant preparation.
