I am participating in SWIM Across the Sound to raise money for cancer. Cancer has affected so many of those close to me. I am doing this for people like my mother, who overcame breast cancer last year and Van Farrier, a beloved teacher who passed away from pancreatic cancer earlier this year. My goal is to raise money for St. Vincent's that will go towards helping people struggling with cancer and their families. It also goes toward preventative outreach.
