St. Vincent's Special Needs Center
The mission of St. Vincent's Special Needs Center is to foster the physical, educational, emotional and social development of persons with disabilities to live in the community. Funds raised through St. Vincent's Medical Center Foundation support core programs for early childhood development, adult daycare and residential services for those individuals with special needs.
Funds donated to St. Vincent's Special Needs are used to support the Children's Residential facility in Newtown, Connecticut, which cares for children with multiple and severe developmental disabilities requiring round the clock care. Additionally, support is given to the "First Connections" Family Center and their toy-lending library for the development of children with special needs.
