Overview


The Elizabeth Pfriem SWIM Center for Cancer Care consolidates all of St. Vincent's outstanding cancer education, diagnosis and treatment programs, many of which are made possible by the SWIM Across the Sound, in a single location. The Center, with its own entrance, is housed in the new four-story, 125,000 square foot facility built through the implementation of St. Vincent's $150 million Master Facility Plan.

The Multidisciplinary SWIM Cancer Center  features:

  • Novalis TX - Linear Accelerator - This extraordinary technology combines diagnostic imaging, digital fluoroscopy, digital radiography, and radiosurgery  to directly target tumors, including brain tumors while minimizing damage to healthy tissue.

  • Pet/CT Dual Unit Scanner and Simulator
