We are pleased to announce the 15th Annual Sail Park City Regatta to be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016.  It is hosted by Fayerweather Yacht Club in Bridgeport.  The 2016 entry fee is $100 if registered by July 17th, 2016.  After July 18th, 2016, the regular fee is $125. With your tax deductible registration, you will receive a t-shirt, skipper bag and five free Regatta Picnic tickets.  Additional picnic tickets are available for $5.00 each.  Additional SPCR logo merchandise will be available for sale the day of the Regatta.

Presented by Fayerweather Yacht Club in Bridgeport, the Regatta donated more than $20,000 last year to help the St. Vincent's SWIM Across the Sound turn the tide against cancer.  Since its inception, the Regatta has raised more than $250,000.  Once again, the Top Fund Raising Boat will be honored with the Jan Williams Perpetual Trophy at the picnic so get your crews, family, friends and co-workers involved.

Sailing will take place outside Black Rock Harbor and can be viewed from St. Mary's by the Sea.  Racing divisions will be PHRF Spinnaker, Non-Spinaker and One-Design, under YRALIS ratings.

In 2016 there will be a Navigator Division for any boat, with or without a PHRF certificate.  This is a Non-Spinnaker division and ratings will be assigned on a "best effort" basis by the Race Committee.  You are encouraged to come out and race in this division if you do not have a PHRF certificate but want to support the event.  The top three boats in each division will also be honored with memorable trophies.

"This is such a worthwhile cause that it is truly a pleasure to be involved, " said Regatta Chair Rick Perret.  "What I appreciate most about this event is that the funding stays local to support those in need."

This regatta is a method by which competitive sailors, their friends and supporters can help.  First, the donations made will help prevent disease through early detection.  Secondly, it provides support to current cancer patients with legitimate needs.  And for some, it is a way to honor those who have gone before us."

After the Regatta, a fun picnic, live music, food, party and silent auction begins on the Fayerweather Yacht Club lawn.
